Samsung has reportedly postponed One UI 7 beta
Android 15 Preview has been out for a while, and per Google's timeline, the new version of the operating system has already reached "Platform Stability." To fill you in, "Platform Stability" is when its developers need to do the final compatibility testing of their apps for the new OS.
Many phone manufacturers have already started their beta program for Android 15, but Samsung has yet to announce the One UI 7 beta. Previous reports suggested that it would drop this month, but that's yet to happen. Sammobile now reports that the update has been pushed back to September.
While Samsung hasn't officially revealed anything yet, the One UI 7 beta is expected to land on multiple devices, including:
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy S22 series
- Galaxy S23 series
- Galaxy S24 series
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy A35
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A55
Previous reports have also claimed that the One UI 7 beta based on Android 15 will be available in several countries, including the US, the UK, Poland, India, Germany, China, and South Korea. Moreover, a report from last month has detailed the possible new features that the update may introduce. Among all the changes is the 2-page notification panel, similar to what Xiaomi has in its HyperOS.
