Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 spills some colorful secrets in supposed leak of official promo renders
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has joined its fellow foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, in appearing in numerous leaked images that have allegedly been taken from an official promotional video. The screenshots of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 show the phone in a selection of “iconic” colors and there is a close-up of a dual-camera system that is implemented as part of a small screen that can handily display notifications for the user.
Display analyst Ross Young has stated what colors have been chosen for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3: beige, black, dark blue, gray, green, light pink, light violet, and white. According to the same source, Samsung will start production of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in July with focus on four colors for “most of the volume”. In addition, the leaked screenshots reveal that the flip phone is “wrapped in Gorilla Glass Victus”.
The supposed Galaxy Z Flip 3 on show here looks appealing and has a more “playful” aesthetic to it than the original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phone. The increased size for the notification display will also be a selling point for users who don’t want to be constantly flipping open their phone unnecessarily. It’s rumored the Z Flip 3 (or whatever official name Samsung gives it) will sport a Snapdragon 888, come in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants, and cost in the region of US$1,499.
