Samsung Galaxy S25 revealed to be keeping compact flagship form factor with even thinner bezels
@OnLeaks has teamed up with Android Headlines to provide a first look at the Galaxy S25. Based on current assessments, it seems that the device will be the smallest of the three flagships that Samsung introduces in January after the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
To that end, Android Headlines reports that the Galaxy S25 measures 146.9 x 70.4 x 7.2 mm. If accurate, this would mean that Samsung's next compact flagship will come in at 0.1 mm shorter, 0.2 mm narrower, and 0.4 mm thinner than the current Galaxy S24 (curr. $719.99 on Amazon). Nonetheless, Samsung is said to have still found space for a 6.2-inch display, presumably by reducing the size of the bezels within which this display sits.
As a result, the Galaxy S25 will be noticeably smaller than the iPhone 16 Pro, which measures 149.6 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm in part because of its 6.3-inch display. Ultimately, little visually separates the Galaxy S25 from its predecessor. The same was true between the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24, though. Based on @OnLeaks' renders, Samsung will add larger camera lenses this time around, although they are expected to protect identical camera hardware. By contrast, the Galaxy S25 Ultra should look a fair bit different compared to the current Galaxy S24 Ultra.
