The Samsung Galaxy A40 is apparently going to be on sale in Europe soon according to one of MySmartPrice’s sources. The midrange smartphone is rumored to have a price tag of €249 (~US$283). The full specifications of the Galaxy A40 have not yet been confirmed, but it should come with a Samsung Exynos SoC.

The Galaxy A40 could sport either the 7885 or the similar 7904 chipset, which has a lower clock rate than the older 7885. Other rumored hardware includes a 6.4-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED (1080x2340; 19.5:9) and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage. Up to 512 GB of additional storage via microSD slot should be possible.

Another source also states that the smartphone could feature a 4000 mAh battery and offer a rear-facing dual camera setup consisting of a 13 MP camera and an 8 MP camera. An 8 MP selfie camera could also be present.
