Samsung Canvas HiFi S99H OLED Smart TV hides powerful soundbar behind wooden front panel

Samsung has teamed up with Canvas HiFi to relaunch the Samsung OLED S99H Smart TV. While the screen remains unchanged, Samsung is pairing the new version with a Canvas soundbar, which is designed to blend discreetly into a living room with its wooden front, with no visible cables between the TV and the soundbar.
The new model is available with screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 83 inches. The smallest version comes with a smaller Canvas soundbar, for the 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch models, buyers can choose between the Canvas and Canvas L soundbars. The larger version also promises more power — While Canvas specifies an output power of 250 watts for the Class D amplifier, the manufacturer’s marketing claims that the performance is comparable to traditional soundbars with power ratings of 1,000 or 1,500 watts.
The smaller version is equipped with two 29-millimeter silk dome tweeters, two 165-millimeter low-midrange drivers, and passive radiators, and is said to offer a frequency response ranging from 28 Hz to 24 kHz. Canvas HiFi has not yet confirmed technical details about the larger version. The smart TV can be mounted on a wall, placed on a TV stand, or positioned anywhere in the room using a separately available stand. The soundbar can also be used independently of the smart TV and play music via Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon, Tidal, or Spotify Connect, for example.
Pricing and availability
The Samsung Canvas The HiFi S99H Smart TV is expected to launch in October 2026 with suggested retail prices starting at $7,999. Further details can be found on the Canvas HiFi website.
