Review verdict for the Asus ProArt PZ14 - Stylish all-rounder with an excellent screen and powerful CPU

The new Asus ProArt PZ14 is a versatile convertible, which offers a slim design and the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The CPU performance is strong for such a slim device, even though the integrated graphics adapter (Adreno X2-90) does not reach performance levels of Intel's Arc iGPUs or AMD's Strix Halo chips. The included keyboard cover with a crisp 1.7 mm key travel is a real highlight, just like the fast SD-Express card reader with transfer rates north of 700 MB/s. The 14-inch OLED panel offers great image quality with 144 Hz and excellent color accuracy (sRGB and P3), which is great for creative users, and even bright contents do not appear grainy. The fan is usually in the background, but gets noisy when you utilize the full performance potential.

There are more powerful rivals like the ProArt PZ13 with AMD's Strix Halo, but this device is noticeably thicker and the IPS screen simply does not offer the image quality you get from the OLED screen.

Important for potential buyers: Due to the Snapdragon ARM processor, you should check whether your software is compatible and whether there are drivers for existing hardware accessories. Also keep in mind that there are no maintenance or upgrade options.

Considering the purchase price of $2,500, this is no bargain, but considering the current market situation and the hardware equipment, the price is still okay.
