Razer has unveiled ‘HyperBoost’, a complementary software that works with the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad’s smart cooling for better thermal management and enhanced performance.

Razer, the company best known for the Razer Blade gaming laptops and other gaming products, has marked its presence at the CES 2025. This year, Razer unveiled several hardware and software products. Some of the highlights include the updated Razer Blade 16 laptop, Project Arielle gaming chair, Razer Handheld Dock Chroma, and much more.

Along with this, Razer also unveiled a new Razer HyperBoost technology, which, when combined with the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad, aims to boost the gaming performance of the Razer Blade 16 gaming laptops. This innovative solution allows gamers to push their system's power limits beyond factory settings, resulting in higher frame rates and smoother performance.

With HyperBoost, users get more efficient heat dissipation by going beyond the vapour chambers’ capabilities. The software helps reduce system temperatures, which, in turn, improves performance. Further, users can tailor the software’s performance as per their preferences via the Razer Synapse.

Razer's HyperBoost firmware is available for free for select Razer Blade 16 models. As per the official announcement, Razer Blade 16 laptops (from 2023 and 2024) with Nvidia RTX 4060 to RTX 4090 graphic cards are compatible with the software. Users can download the HyperBoost firmware for their specific model through Razer Synapse.
