Razer Zephyr: Razer seeks beta testers for 'the smartest face mask in the world'
Razer presented its Project Hazel face mask at CES 2021 in January, initially as a concept. Since then, the project has in scope, as the company now hopes to deliver the device from Q4 2021. Razer states that its face mask will be the smartest in the world, although it remains to be seen how exactly.
Nonetheless, the company has settled on a final name, Zephyr. The reveal of the new name coincides with a new prototype, which has changed a lot from Project Hazel. Based on the video below, it seems that Razer has added additional vents at the bottom of the mask, although the transparent front panel remains. Naturally, Razer has included RGB lighting, too.
Unfortunately, Razer has not commented on what makes Zephyr special. However, if it has preserved the core features of Project Hazel, then Zephyr should have two active fans and a charging station that disinfects it with UV light. You can apply to beta test the Zephyr now via the link below.
