A few months ago, Razer announced its tree conversation project to plant ten trees for every Sneki Snek plushie sold. The company promised to unveil new merchandise for every 100,000 trees saved. That figure has now crossed the 400,000 mark, unlocking Razer's latest snake-themed accessory: the Sneki Snek Slippers. Today also happens to be World Snake Day, so the timing is nothing short of impeccable. You can pick a pair up from Razer's official website for US$49.99.
Razer says that the Sneki Snek Slippers are made out of 100% recycled materials. It has a warm, plush lining and a slip-resistant sole. There isn't much more to it, other than the fact that its exteriors have a velvety finish. It should, at the very least, make for a comfortable pair of indoor footwear. One could take things up a notch by pairing it with Puma's gaming socks and gain some extra FPS in games.
We already have the Sneki Snek Plushie, Head Pillow, Eye Mask, Floor Rug, and Slippers. It shouldn't be long before we see the next serpent-themed accessory, as it will unlock once the 500,000 trees milestone is achieved. One can't help but wonder what Razer has in store for us. A pair of gamer shorts, perhaps? It'd be nice if we got to see Razer's RGB face mask in action first, though.
