To mark its 30th anniversary, Pokémon is releasing a unique logo for each of its 1,025 pocket monsters, and fans can claim one on X. The campaign serves as a lead-up to Pokémon Day on February 28, when the 10th generation is widely expected to be unveiled alongside additional announcements.

It all began with 151 Pokémon. Thirty years later, the number has grown to 1,025 – and each one is receiving its own logo to mark the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The campaign was announced by the official Poké Times account on X and sets the stage for Pokémon Day on February 28. Fans are anticipating several major announcements, including Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as the reveal of the 10th generation. According to ongoing rumors, the new titles could be called Pokémon Wind and Pokémon Wave.

The post already showcases the designs for four first-generation favorites: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and, of course, Pikachu. The remaining Pokémon follow the same concept, each incorporating a stylized “30” rendered in its own distinct color scheme.

Every user can claim their own logo on X – simply click on the embedded post above and share the automatically generated update. For this article, we tried it ourselves and received Rookidee, the Flying-type Pokémon introduced in the eighth generation with Pokémon Sword & Shield. A quick look online reveals that designs for all the other Pokémon are already circulating as well.

The logos can be used as smartphone backgrounds, profile pictures or desktop wallpapers, though commercial use is prohibited. The campaign has been well received on Reddit, where many users praise the inclusive concept of featuring every single Pokémon. At the same time, some criticize the relatively simple designs, which were likely generated largely automatically using existing vector assets.
