Poco M8 Power specs leak in full ahead of launch

Poco is set to unveil the M8 Power in India on August 4, and there is not much left to reveal on launch day. The phone's official microsite has been live on Flipkart for several days now, and a recent leak from tipster Anvin on X gives us a look at what the M8 Power will come with in the box. 

According to the Flipkart listing, the Poco M8 Power features a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Poco also lists a 240Hz touch sampling rate, along with 1,800 nits of peak brightness and 1,200 nits in HBM mode. On the software side, the M8 Power ships with HyperOS 3 running on top of Android 16. Poco is committing to four years of Android version upgrades and six years of security updates.

Powering the phone is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, an entry-level combination that fits the phone's likely price point. As earlier leaks had suggested, the POCO M8 Power will come with an 8,000mAh battery, backed by 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Despite the sizeable battery, Poco says the M8 Power measures just 8.45mm thick.

For the cameras, the M8 Power sticks to the basics, with a single 50MP rear camera built around an OmniVision Light Fusion 400 sensor and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. There is no mention of an ultra-wide or macro camera, suggesting Poco is prioritizing the main sensor over a multi-camera array. The phone comes with Gorilla Glass 7i protecting the display and an IP65 rating.

The Poco M8 Power will be available in Blaze Orange, Green and Black. Inside the box, buyers can expect the phone itself, a protective case, a 45W charger, a USB cable, a SIM ejector tool and a quick start guide, a fairly generous bundle by current industry standards.

Poco has not disclosed pricing for the M8 Power at the time of writing. That detail, along with any region-specific variants, should become clear when the phone officially launches on August 4.
