The Peladn WO7 is a new mini PC that the company has introduced through its Weibo account. There's no launch date yet, but in the post, the brand has shared that it will be an AMD system with a capable Ryzen 5 processor. It's expected to have an affordable launch price.

Peladn has introduced a new AMD-powered mini PC, the WO7. It's set to launch soon in China, and with a detailed Weibo blog post, the company has shared most of the core specs.

Under the hood, the WO7 packs the AMD Ryzen 5 6600H, which is a relatively old Zen 3+ APU, but it can still smoothly tackle day-to-day tasks. It features the Radeon 660M, and while this iGPU isn't as capable as the 780M or 890M, it can still play older games with visual settings dialed down.

It would've been great to see eGPU support through a USB4 or OCuLink port, but the port selection isn't bad for the compact chassis that it comes with. More specifically, it has the following ports:

  • 1x USB Type-C
  • 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A
  • 1x HDMI 2.0
  • 1x DisplayPort 1.4
  • 2x 1GbE
  • 1x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 1x 3.5mm audio

The company has paired the AMD APU with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and for storage, there are two M.2 slots that can hold PCIe 4.0x4 SSDs. For wireless connectivity, there's WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.

There's no concrete word on the availability yet, but given that Peladn has shared almost everything about the mini PC, it could launch soon in China. Moreover, given that it's based on an old AMD APU, the launch price is expected to be affordable. For those looking for something similar that has already been released globally, the GMKtec M8 can be a good pick (16/512GB curr. $389.99 on Amazon).
