Deal | PSVR 2 just got a big price cut on the official PlayStation Store

Sony made the PlayStation VR2 much more affordable last year by permanently lowering its price from $549 to $399, giving buyers a $150 price cut. And if you've been waiting for an even better deal, now is a great time to pick one up.

The PSVR 2 is currently on sale through the PlayStation Direct store for $299, bringing its price down by another $100. The new discount went live today and is scheduled to remain available until August 10, giving buyers roughly two weeks to grab the headset at its current price.

The headset includes everything you need to start playing on PlayStation 5 right out of the box. Inside the package, you'll find the PlayStation VR2 headset, two PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers with attached straps, a USB charging cable, and a pair of stereo headphones with three different-sized earpieces to help you find a comfortable fit.

For PlayStation 5 owners, setup is straightforward, as the headset is ready to use once connected. However, if you're planning to use the headset on a PC, you’ll need to purchase the PlayStation VR2 PC Adapter separately for $59, which is required to connect the headset to a compatible computer.
