PDP's Riffmaster, the new guitar controller, finally has a release date
In January, PDP, the manufacturer of licensed accessories for consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and more), unveiled Riffmaster, which is a wireless guitar controller for Fortnite Festival and Rock Band 4.
Almost two months later, PDP has announced the release date of Riffmaster, which will be available for sale starting from April. The announcement comes via a tweet as well as an official press release.
The Riffmaster wireless guitar controller is available in two variants - one is for PlayStation 5 and 4, while the other is compatible with Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC (Windows 10 and 11). The controller comes with a d-pad, an analog stick, and a few other buttons. The guitar controller can be used from a 30-foot distance and comes with a 36-hour battery life. Further, the Riffmaster is collapsible, so storage shouldn’t be a problem.
The guitar controller can be pre-ordered now for $130, and it will be rolled out on April 30th. At the moment, players can pre-order the Riffmaster through PDP’s official website or retailers like Amazon.
A few weeks ago, Epic Games and Harmonix (its subsidiary), had announced a DLC for Rock Band 4, which is a popular rhythm game from 2015. Further, the guitar controller is also all set to fully support the Fortnite Festival.
