Oppo announced today its new entry-level smartphone, the Oppo Neo 7. The handset comes with a 5-inch, 540 x 960 resolution display and features a mirror-like finish on the back.

The Neo 7 is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor running at 1.2 GHz, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM. There’s 16 GB of flash memory on board, expandable via micro-SD card reader. Naturally, the storage space is partly taken by the Oppo’s Color 2.1 operating system (based on Android 5.0 Lollipop).

Other specs include an 4G LTE module, dual-SIM support, as well as an 8 MP camera with LED flash on the back and a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front. The battery capacity is 2420 mAh. The Neo 7 weighs 141 grams and measures 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55 mm.

Although no pricing information has been released yet, entry-level specifications suggest that the new handset is going to be rather affordable. Oppo Neo 7 should hit the stores within the next several weeks.
