Expected to launch on May 21, the upcoming Oppo A9X is similar to the Oppo F11 in both looks and specs. This phablet-sized device with a 6.5-inch display has a 48 + 5 MP main camera setup, MediaTek Helio P70 processor, 6 GB of memory, 128 GB of internal storage, and runs Android 9.0 Pie-based firmware out of the box.

Chinese phone maker Oppo will launch the A9X later this month, and Indiashopps has just revealed three press renders that show the color choices, as well as all the technical details that any potential buyer would like to know about. Even more, the price for the Chinese market has been revealed as well.

The leaked images and specs reveal a handset that is quite similar to the Oppo F11. Expected to hit the market in three colors — Meteorite Black, Ice Jade White, Star Blue — the Oppo A9X is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 processor and has a generous 6.5-inch display with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. The cameras provide 16 MP for selfies (single-sensor setup) and 48 MP for other mobile photography tasks (on the back, there is a 48 + 5 MP combo, close to a dual LED flash and a fingerprint reader).

In addition to the above, we should add that the Oppo A9X will come in a single hardware configuration that brings together 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of internal storage space. The microSD slot supports memory cards up to 256 GB in size. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is present, as well as micro USB and USB 2.0 support — so the 3,910 mAh battery might need a few long hours for a full charge.

The Oppo A9X will launch with Android 9.0 Pie-based firmware onboard on May 21. The price of CN¥1,399 is currently equivalent to around US$202.
