Only 6.8mm thick: Baseus launches ultrathin Picogo Air magnetic power bank globally with 20W charging

The Baseus Picogo Air AM71 is now available to buy in the US, UK, and across the Eurozone as an ultra-slim magnetic power bank designed to make your phone easier to use while charging. At just 6.8mm thick, it's only slightly thicker than the iPhone Air (5.6mm) and thinner than competing models like the Ugreen MagFlow Air (8.6mm) and Anker Nano (8.6mm).
As for the specs, the Picogo Air AM71 packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 7.5W magnetic wireless charging for compatible phones. Without Qi2 support, it's slower than both the Anker and Ugreen models, which offer up to 15W wireless charging. Fortunately, it also supports faster 20W wired charging through its USB-C port.
Elsewhere, Baseus added NFC PowerSense for real-time power monitoring via an app. Once paired, users can check the remaining capacity, battery health, charging cycles, battery temperature, and more directly on their smartphone. The power bank itself features a grooved design to improve heat dissipation and comes in a smooth aluminum unibody. Rounding things off, it is CCC-certified for use on flights in China.
Pricing and availability
The Baseus Picogo Air AM71 is now available globally in two colors: silver and black. In the US, it retails for $69.99 through Amazon. Buyers in the UK and across the Eurozone can purchase it from the Baseus Store for £61.13 and €69.99, respectively. Interestingly, it's priced higher than the Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank, which features the same 6.8mm ultra-thin design and similar charging speeds. The Xiaomi model sells for £54.99 in the UK and €59.99 in EU.
