OnePlus, which started off as a flagship-killer smartphone brand, has already entered into several product categories, including wearables, audio, and smart TVs. Now, the company is planning to venture into the gaming monitor space as well.
The company recently teased that it would be introducing two new gaming monitors in the Indian market — the X 27 and the E 24. The X 27 is aimed at the premium segment while the E 24 is more of a mid-range offering.
OnePlus said that the X 27 is targeted at gamers and online study. Accordingly, the monitor features a 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium support. The display resolution is not known at this point, but a QHD panel seems likely. Specifications about the E 24 are not known yet.
The new OnePlus monitors are slated for a December 12 launch in India. The website suggests previews of these monitors would be revealed on December 5th and December 8th. OnePlus said that it aims to price these monitors competitively. Worldwide availability is not yet known.
