OnePlus Nord N20 5G renders break cover showcasing a brand new, iPhone-like design
91mobiles, in partnership with OnLeaks, has revealed OnePlus Nord N20 5G renders. The renders showcase a phone design that is a marked departure from the OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 and resembles recent iPhones. The design is characterized by flat sides, chamfered edges, a flat display panel with a chunky bottom bezel, and a punch-hole selfie camera. There is also no separate camera module breaking the design of the phone with OnePlus integrating three individual lenses into the back of the device. The camera arrangement resembles the camera design of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra if the leaks about Samsung’s offering end up being true.
Moving on, the power button is on the right side while the volume rocker and the sim card tray sit on the left side. Surprisingly, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the bottom, along with a speaker grill, microphones, and a USB-C port. The top of the device is devoid of anything save for a single mic for noise-canceling reasons. According to OnLeaks, OnePlus Nord N20 5G will be carrying Qualcomm’s latest mid-range SoC, the Snapdragon 695 5G.
The camera situation of the Nord N20 5G looks a bit concerning as OnePlus has allegedly decided to use a 48 MP primary and two 2 MP secondary lenses with an LED flash on the back. On the front, the selfie camera is expected to be a 16 MP unit. Other notable specs include a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Finally, OnePlus Nord N20 5G measures 159.8 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm, making for a considerably smaller phone than the OnePlus Nord 10. The smartphone is expected to come in at least two colors, grey and purple.
