Numerous leaks point to what amounts to a second-generation iPhone SE - although it could be called the iPhone 9 on launch. A Slovakian blog has developed new images showing this phone's possible appearance. They combine elements of the older flagship this new phone may be based on with some up-to-date Apple design choices.
Apple is currently thought to have a second-gen iPhone SE in the works. It may be something of a refresh for the iPhone 8, and may accordingly be called the 9 on its release. The blog SvetApple has mocked up some renders for this putative phone based on its leaks and rumors to date.
To this end, these new images show a phone that resembles the 8 to some degree. This includes the return of Touch ID, which may be very welcome among some Apple fans; however, there is no guarantee this will come to fruition in a real-world phone.
The "iPhone 9" rear panel exhibits a single camera module, albeit one that could have come from an 11-series device. The blog-post that has premiered these new renders also discussed its latest leaks, including the theory that it will have 4GB of RAM and rock the A13 Bionic chipset.
It also mentioned the idea that it will start at just US$399 for a 64GB SKU (which, for any new iPhone, would be amazingly cheap), or cost up to $499 for a 128GB model.
SvetApple also proposes that the new SE will be released in black, white and red colorways. (Source: SvetApple)

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
