The budget Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 was revealed earlier this year in a catalog, but more details have now surfaced on some hard specifications.
In addition to separate WiFi-only and 3G models, the Tab E 9.6 will sport a 9.6-inch 800 x 1280 resolution display with a Spreadtrum SC7730SE quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory with MicroSD support. The rear and front cameras will be 5 MP and 2 MP, respectively, with an integrated 5000 mAh battery. On the software front, the tablet is expected to ship with Android 4.4 KitKat at the very least.
Exact pricing information is still up in the air, though the initial release will be limited to select Asian and Eastern European markets. A starting price equivalent of about $200 should be very likely according to sources.
