The Galaxy S26 series is not expected to officially debut until the end of next month. For the time being, Samsung is believed to be replacing the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. By contrast, the Galaxy S25 Edge (curr. $819.99 on Amazon) is anticipated to remain on shelves despite featuring last-generation hardware.
The Galaxy S25 Edge could end up being closer in price to the Galaxy S26 Ultra than last year's model, too. According to Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will retail for around €100 less when configured with 256 GB and 512 GB of storage. Thus, the device may start for approximately €1,349 before rising to €1,469 for 512 GB SKUs.
Meanwhile, 1 TB variants are said to cost about the same as last year. Quandt also reports that the prices of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus will remain roughly the same as their predecessors. Hence, we can infer that the Galaxy S26 will reach the US for around $799, with the Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra coming in at $999.99 and $1,199.99, respectively. In short, Samsung plans to eat the rising manufacturing costs this year, at least for its flagship Galaxy S smartphones anyway.
S26: base models are pretty much the same price as last year, except for Ultra, which is ~100 Euro cheaper for 256 and 512GB S26U 1TB is the same as last year prices are changing in different ways. overall Samsung is "eating" the higher mem cost in most cases !no free preorder upgrades expected
