New Casio Vintage metal strap watches launching globally

Casio has released four new metal strap watches in the US and Europe. These new digital and hybrid timepieces were spotted on an official Casio website in October 2026. Each has a finely woven metal mesh band, setting them apart from other variants of these existing Vintage models.

The A158 is a rectangular digital watch, with the A158WEMG-9 featuring a gold colored resin casing and a gold ion-plated stainless steel strap. The AQ230 is a square-shaped hybrid watch with two analog hands and a slim digital display. Similarly, the AQ230EMG-9A has a golden resin casing with a matching resin strap. The LA680 is a square digital watch, with a resin and chrome plated casing and bezel in either a silver or gold tone. All three models have features like a stopwatch, a timer and an alarm.

Now at the Casio store US, you can buy the A158WEMG-9 for $99.95 and the AQ230EMG-9A for $110.00. The silver colored LA680WEM-7A is priced at $69.95, while the gold tone LA680WEMG-9A is more expensive at $99.95.

These watches are also available at Casio stores in EU countries like the Netherlands, Spain and France. Here, the A158WEMG-9 retails for €89.90, and the AQ-230EMG-9A costs €99.90. Again, Casio’s silver LA680WEM-7A is cheaper than the golden LA680WEMG-9A, priced at €64.90 and €89.90, respectively.

In the UK, Casio has announced that the LA680WEM-7A and the LA680WEMG-9A will become available in the near future, with £55.00 and £85.00 RRPs, respectively. It is unclear whether or when the A158WEMG-9 or the AQ-230EMG-9A watches could be released in the UK.
