New Amazfit smartwatch gets five more features in update

The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is receiving another update, firmware version 3.13.0.2. This smartwatch was released in April 2026, and has already received several updates adding Hybrid Training, lactate threshold metrics and support for TrainingPeaks.
As reported by a user on Reddit, firmware version 3.13.0.2 brings five new features to the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro. The first is the ability to search for points of interest (POI) mid-workout, allowing users to find places to rest or refuel. The route planning function gains an out-and-back option, which can be customized by distance. There is also a One-Tap Return to Start tool, which triggers an automated return route for outdoor running.
The Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro’s Battery Manager can now be used to monitor the impact of flashlight usage. On top of this, the running wearable gains the Pickleball 2.0 sport mode. There are also said to be improvements linked to navigation-related vibration and voice alerts, as well as the algorithm behind the lactate threshold metric. You can find the complete release notes below.
Amazfit typically pushes its firmware updates to users in phases, starting in regions like China, the US and Canada. Users of the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro (curr. $449.99 at Amazon) will be able to install this release via the Zepp app.
