Muse 300 goes beyond 100% funding on Kickstarter

Just as expected, the Kickstarter campaign for the Muse 300 DAC/headphone amplifier with a custom operating system that was built from scratch instead of just applying a skin over an Android core went live before the end of June. Even better, although less than a week has passed since the campaign went live, the project is already fully funded, so shipments should kick off next month. While the best-priced 50 units have sold out, interested individuals can still pledge to receive reasonable discounts on the $439.99 MSRP.
The three special pricing tiers available on Kickstarter for this item are the following:
- Super Early Bird — $349.99 (just 50 units, already claimed)
- Early Bird — $379.99 (300 units in total, just 48 claimed so far, so 242 still available)
- Kickstarter Special — $399.99 (unlimited, none claimed)
In addition to the above, audio fans who don't have a budget generous enough to afford any of the above but would still like to contribute can pledge a small amount without any reward.
The list of highlights includes balanced, tube, and ACG hardware tuning. Four input modes alongside XLR and RCA outputs are present in the list of specs, which also includes the ES9039 Ultra flagship chip, the QCC3095 Bluetooth chip, a customized power supply, and much more.
The Muse 300 comes with a one-year warranty for defects and online support.
