Motorola unveils compact Edge 2026 with three 50 MP cameras

Following the Motorola Edge 70 ($545 on Amazon), Motorola launches a new mid-range smartphone in the Edge series, which features the typical Motorola design with a flat frame, colorful fabric back and square camera module. With a screen diagonal of 6.3 inches, the Edge 2026 is one of the most compact smartphones in the series.
Motorola installs an "Extreme AMOLED" panel with a resolution of 2,640 x 1,216 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and an impressive HDR peak brightness of 5,200 nits. Despite the compact body, Motorola can install a 5,000 mAh battery, which can be charged either via USB-C with up to 60 watts or wirelessly with up to 15 watts. The Motorola Edge 2026 has a 50 megapixel selfie camera, a 50 MP main camera with Sony LYT-710 sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP telephoto camera with triple optical zoom.
The main camera can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second and 1,080p slow-motion videos at 120 fps. Inside the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 7450, which offers four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The smartphone supports the usual Android AI features including Circle to Search. Motorola guarantees at least three major Android updates for the mid-range smartphone.
