Moto Tag 2 now available for purchase in the U.S. after global launch

Motorola's latest UWB tracker, the Moto Tag 2, is now available for purchase in the U.S. It's available for $19.99 at launch, but is going up to $29.99 after this initial launch deal. It is compatible with devices running Android 9 and above, so expect it to work well with any modern Android flagship.
The Moto Tag 2 was first introduced at CES 2026 as the successor to the Moto Tag, and it comes with several features, including support for Google's Find Hub, allowing more precise tracking as long as it is in close proximity to other devices connected to the Find Hub network. It's pretty close to one of the few trackers that work as an AirTag for Android.
With these new updates, the Moto Tag 2 is available in Pantone Arabesque and Pantone Laurel Oak colorways. Its new features include support for Bluetooth 6.0 with Channel Sounding and Ultra-Wideband support, allowing users more precise tracking. It has an IP68 rating, meaning it can withstand dust and be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of fresh water. It also has end-to-end encryption and unwanted tracking alerts to sidestep the privacy issues that are inherent to these small trackers.
It's worth noting that the $19.99 introductory price is much cheaper than the launch price in Finland, France, Germany, and the UK, where it debuted at £29.99, and roughly €40 in the other listed European regions.
The Motorola Moto Tag 2 is available from Motorola's online store and Amazon for $19.99 or $69.99 for a four pack.
