Mobfree SuperDock 9-in-1 gadget with 110 W output is crowdfunding
The mobfree SuperDock is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Similar in concept to the UGREEN 100 W USB-C Charging Station, the 9-in-1 gadget is designed to declutter your desk, powered by GaN technology. The docking station has a total output of 110 W across two USB-C 3.1 ports with 65 W and 20 W outputs, two USB-A 3.0 7.5 W ports and a 10 W magnetic wireless charging pad for Qi-enabled devices. The 65 W output enables you to recharge a 2020 MacBook Air fully in under two hours, and the USB-A ports can transfer data at up to 5 Gbps.
Other ports on the SuperDock include an HDMI port for a 4K@60Hz display supporting HDR10. An RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port allows speeds up to 1,000 Mbps, and two 10 A AC sockets are compatible with devices under 1,250 W like a monitor, projector or speaker. You can plug in an optional 3-in-1 Dual-Sided Wireless Watch Charger, which the company claims is a world first. On one side, you can charge an Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 2, while the flipside is suitable for charging a Samsung Galaxy Watch.
The SuperDock measures 70 x 67 x 32 mm (~2.8 x 2.6 x 1.3-in), weighs 562 g (~19.8 oz) and is powered by a wall outlet. The gadget is compatible with macOS and Windows devices. The lowest pledge level for the mobfree SuperDock is currently HK$769 (~US$99); the gadget is expected to retail for HK$999 (~US$129) in the future. You can buy the accompanying 3-in-1 Dual-Sided Wireless Watch Charger via the crowdfunding campaign for HK$129 (~US$17). The products are due to ship worldwide this June.
