Minix shares more details of its new AMD Strix Point mini PCs

Minix introduced two new AMD Strix Point mini PCs at the Computex 2025 event. Among the two, the ER937-AI is the more capable mini PC with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. The ER936-AI, on the other hand, features a slightly less capable Ryzen AI 9 365.

While the company shared most of the core specs of these two AMD mini PCs, the pricing details were left out. Now, Minix has shared that the ER937-AI will cost €1,019, around $1,195, while the ER936-AI will be a little affordable, costing €919, about $1,077.

It seems that there will be only one configuration of the mini PCs available, with both of them featuring 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. Although the company hasn't mentioned anything about upgradeable memory, the storage can be expanded to 8 TB (4 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus curr. $234.99 on Amazon).

In addition to sharing the pricing details of the two mini PCs, Minix has shared the port configuration of the systems. As we noted in our Computex 2025 coverage, the chassis of the ER936-AI and ER937-AI appear to be the same, and the port configuration is also identical. To be specific, they have the following ports:

• 2x USB4
• 3x USB 3.2 Type-A
• 2x 2.5G Ethernet
• 1x DisplayPort 1.4
• 1x HDMI 2.1
• 1x 3.5 audio jack

The company has yet to confirm when these two mini PCs will be available for purchase. However, given that most of the info about the systems has been shared, Minix will likely launch them soon.
