Verdict – Ugreen Nexode Air 65W delivers solid performance for its size
The Ugreen Nexode Air 65W offers plenty of power for its exceptionally compact size. It's small enough to be easily carried around in pockets, and it comes with a quality 100W USB-C cable. The fast charger can comfortably power MacBook Neo, other laptops, gaming handhelds, phones, and accessories.
It does fall a bit short in terms of the advertised 93% efficiency figure, but the adapter hovered around the 90% mark in our test. The fast charger also got noticeably warm during sustained high-power loads, but it didn't output any unstable behavior.
Overall, it's a solid single-port GaN charger for everyday use and travel.

The Ugreen Nexode Air series launched with three chargers, and we recently checked out the Air 45W Slim. That adapter impressed us with its size and efficiency, and the Nexode Air 65W seems to be a solid addition as well.
This small-sized 65W charger can easily fit into pockets, but it's powerful enough to run a laptop. Like the Slim 45W, it also comes with a foldable plug, making it more travel-friendly. However, the real question is how good it is when it comes to managing heat and efficiency.

The Ugreen Nexode Air 65W is smaller than an earbuds case and ships with a cable
If you're looking for specifics, the Nexode Air 65W is around 40.5mm tall, 33mm wide, and 31mm thick. The finish on the exterior is quite good, and the textured top gives it a premium look.
As for the included cable, it's braided and measures 3.3 feet (1 meter). This Ugreen cable also comes with a velcro strap, which makes it easy to manage in different setups.
Charging performance is good, but the efficiency could have been better
The Ugreen Nexode Air 65W is claimed to feature the GaNInfinity Tech, which promises up to 93% conversion efficiency. We put that claim to the test with the reliable Fnirsi FNB58 fast charger tester and a wall power meter.
In our 1-hour test, the power adapter had a max input of 65W, and the output at that specific instance was 58.23W. This translates to an 89.58% efficiency. After the 55-minute mark, the input dropped to 50.6W, while the output reading was 45.60W, translating to an efficiency of around 90.11%. Some captures showing these readings have been attached below.
These are respectable efficiency numbers, but it would've been great to see the charger achieve it's 93% efficiency claim in our test. It's also worth noting that the Nexode Air 65W did get quite warm after the 45-minute mark, but it wasn't too hot to touch.
During this 1-hour test, we noticed the charger maintaining a stable output of close to 20V for the most part, with a slight drop at the latter part of the test. As the connected device approached full charge, the current output gradually tapered off from nearly 3A mark. No unstable behavior was observed, and you can check out the graph below to get a better idea of the 1-hour stress test.
The included cable meets expectations as well, and there's multi-protocol support
Ugreen claims that the included wire is a 100W USB-C cable with a 480Mbps data transfer rate. A quick USB E-marker test shows that it's indeed rated for a maximum voltage of 20V and current of 5A. This test also confirms that it's a USB 2.0 cable.
