The 17.3-inch notebook is expected to have a configuration with the Core i7-6700HQ and GTX 1060 for 1900 Euros.

There have been a handful of leaks on the GeForce GTX 1070 and 1080 these last few days with the benchmarks from Laptopmedia being the most prominent. Now, new leaks from online retailers are pointing to brand new gaming notebooks from the Medion Erazer family.

According to Swiss retailer Digitec.ch, the Medion Erazer will come in multiple 17.3-inch SKUs. One of them will purportedly be the Erazer X7847 with a FHD display, GTX 1060, Core i7-6700HQ CPU, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, and a 1 TB HDD for 1900 Euros. The second higher-end model is listed as the Erazer X7849 with double the RAM, SSD, and HDD capacities with a GTX 1070 for 2500 Euros. Lastly, the highest-end Erazer X7849 HK II will bump the CPU up to a Core i7-6820HK with 64 GB RAM for 3000 Euros.

These Medion models should provide an interesting price-performance ratio compared to the already leaked Asus ROG G752VS series. All major manufacturers are expected to announce new Pascal notebooks this month if recent leaks and rumors are anything to go by.

There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
