Marshall unveils Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Acton III speaker

Marshall is marking 60 years since Jimi Hendrix first plugged into one of its amplifiers with a limited-edition Acton III speaker. Retaining the same hardware as the standard model, the speaker's appearance has been reimagined with design elements inspired by Hendrix's style. The cabinet is wrapped in crushed purple velvet, accented with silver controls, psychedelic artwork and an "Eye of God" symbol stamped into its side panel.
Inside is a 30W woofer paired with two angled 15W tweeters and an updated waveguide for broader sound coverage. Other features include support for Bluetooth 5.2 and Auracast multi-speaker streaming, adjustable bass and treble controls, a 3.5mm jack, and compatibility with the Marshall Bluetooth app. However, Wi-Fi connectivity and a microphone are absent.
Lastly, Marshall claims that the model is built from 70% recycled plastic, PVC-free and vegan materials. Interested readers can visit the product page for more details. As for price, the Marshall x Hendrix 60th Anniversary Acton III runs up to $299.99 in the US and £299 in the UK. The standard model is currently on discount by 25% for $225 at Amazon.
