MSI has unveiled the Titan GT77, a few days after the company started teasing the device. Revealed at Computex 2022, the Titan GT77 will receive a full launch at a separate event on June 7. In the meantime, MSI has confirmed a few details, including that the Titan GT77 has already received a Best Choice Golden Award at Computex 2022 and a Red Dot 2022 design award.
Also, MSI mentions that the Titan GT77 will rely on Intel Alder Lake HX processors. Currently, MSI has the Core i5-12450HX to the Core i9-12950HX to choose from, with three Core i7 parts in between. Presumably, MSI will match the ROG Strix SCAR 17 Special Edition, which ASUS launched last week with a Core i9-12950HX. For reference, the Core i9-12950HX has 16 cores, 24 threads and operates at up to 55 W.
However, it has already emerged that the Titan GT77 will offer up to 75 W of power to its CPU, along with 175 W to a dedicated GPU. While MSI has not confirmed what GPU options will be available, we imagine that there will be a few RTX 3080 Ti-powered SKUs, which has 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and relies on NVIDIA's GA103S GPU. Additionally, MSI will equip the Titan GT77 with up to a UHD display with quad RAM and SSD slots. MSI will reveal more at its 'MSIology: Ahead of the Curve' virtual event, which commences at 01:00 CST (17:00 UTC).
