MSI offered the Stealth A16 AI+ last year with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPU options, while Intel Arrow Lake-HX was restricted to the Stealth 18 HX AI.
At CES 2026, MSI is ditching the Stealth 18 in favor of a new Stealth 16 AI+ powered by the latest Intel Panther Lake-H Series 300 processors and RTX 50 series GPUs.
The MSI Stealth 16 AI+ Copilot+ PC is powered by the new 45 W Intel Core Ultra 9 386H and can be fitted with up to an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. MSI is offering the GPU in two TGP configurations: 100 W + 25 W dynamic boost (Board 1) and 100 W + 15 W dynamic boost (Board 2).
This year's Stealth 16 AI+ is also somewhat lighter and slimmer, weighing 1.9 kg (2.1 kg previously) and measuring 354 x 246 x 16.65-19.9 mm (356 x 260 x 19.9 mm previously). MSI is thus introducing a new Cooler Boost Intra Flow cooling system with multi-directional exhaust that supposedly allows for greater cooling in a thin chassis while enabling 20% more system power.
The laptop comes with a choice of 16-inch 16:10 OLED panels at FHD+ and QHD+ resolutions with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The QHD+ OLED panel sports a 240 Hz refresh rate and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600-certified.
Buyers can configure the Stealth 16 AI+ with up to 128 GB of DDR5-5600/6400/7200 RAM, and 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 drives. Also in the offing are a FHD IR webcam with a privacy shutter along with a fingerprint reader on the power button, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, a quad-speaker setup, and a 4-zone RGB keyboard with a 160 x 100 mm touchpad.
Port selection includes 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 1x HDMI 2.1-out, and Gigabit LAN. Powering the internals is a 4-cell 90 Whr Li-Po battery (75 Whr for the Board 2 config).
Pricing starts around the $2,000 mark for an RTX 5060 config and can go past the $3,000 mark for an RTX 5080 config and above. Availability is yet to be known, but a Q2 2026 release is very likely.
