The MSI GV62 7RD-1811ES is a 15.6" gaming laptop of the Taiwanese company. It competes against models such as the Omen 15 HP, the GL553VD Asus and the Dell Inspiron 15 gaming laptop. This device is aimed at gamers who want to play games on the go. By weight or dimensions, the MSI GV62 7RD is the average of other 15.6" laptops in this range, measuring 26 x 383 x 260 mm and weighing 2.2 kg. MSI has opted for plastic as a construction material for the entire casing, with a finish that simulates brushed metal. Inside there are two fans that manage to keep both the components and the casing at a good temperature. The MSI GV62 7RD-1811ES comes with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ, a model of the high-end of the Kaby Lake Intel (TDP 45 W) series. It consists of 4 cores, has 8 logical threads (Hyper Threading) and 6 MB of cache. This processor is designed for very demanding users who want to work with heavy programs for video editing, CAD or 3D rendering. A user will also get a hard drive of 1 TB at 7200 RPM and 8 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2400MHz in a single module.
As for graphics, the notebook features the Nvidia GTX 1050 with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. This graphic card is part of the current high-end series of Nvidia, thanks to which users can play many games with high or ultra-high details at 1080p, although the most demanding user will be obliged to download the details. MSI has opted in this concrete model for a TN panel with a matte finish and Full-HD resolution, meaning the viewing angles will not be very wide. However, the panel delivers a greater color range (94% NTSC), presenting a more fluid and higher-quality image. A user can expand their vision for an extreme gaming experience via Matrix Display, which supports up to two external monitors simultaneously through an HDMI 1.4 port and a Mini DisplayPort 1.2. Multitasking is possible even in competitive games. Users can connect their laptop to a high definition television, Matrix Display supports 4K output with 3840 x 2160 resolution. This technology creates an ideal playing environment, plus a very satisfying multimedia experience. The connectivity options are quite broad: a USB 3.0 Type-C port, two USB-3.0 ports and a USB-2.0 port, a network port and a WiFi-AC chip compatible with Bluetooth 4.2. Above the screen is an HD webcam for conferences. Despite being 29 millimeters thick, this model does not have an optical drive. The GV62 7RD-1811ES is not exactly the best gaming laptop out there, but it will certainly do some light gaming or even heavier gaming at lower configurations.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile: Mainstream graphics card based on Nvidia's Pascal architecture and successor to the GeForce GTX 960M. Is manufactured in a 14nm process at Samsung and the technical specifications are very similar to the desktop version.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
