Reviews for the MSI GP66 Leopard 10UG
MSI kicked off 2021 with a whole lineup of refreshed laptops sporting GeForce RTX 30 GPUs. Instead of just a simple internal update, however, many of these new models have brand new chassis designs and the GP66 is looking like the best one yet.

Lisa Gade reviews one of the first gaming laptops with NVIDIA RTX 3070 and 3080 graphics on the market, the 15.6” MSI GP66 Leopard. Thanks to our sponsor, Blinkist. Go to https://www.blinkist.com/mobiletechre... to try it out for free! The GP66 is available with full HD IPS 144Hz and 240Hz displays and 6 and 8 core Intel 10th gen i7 processors and Intel Wi-Fi 6. The RTX 3070 is the Max-P variant and the RTX 3080 is Max-Q. It sports a new design (we compare old and new in this review) and an updated Steel Series per key RGB backlit keyboard with MS Precision trackpad. The laptop is reasonably portable and slim, though not as skinny and light as the MSI GS66 Stealth. For those who prefer a larger screen, there’s also a 17.3” GP76 Leopard.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
