Model: MSI's latest addition to their GE62 series is the MSI GE62VR 7RF-298NL Apache Pro, and this beast of a machine has all the power needed to run an intensive VR game seamlessly. MSI's latest addition to their gaming laptop line comes equipped with an Intel Core i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 laptop graphics card, a massive 16 GB of RAM and storage consists of a 256 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD. It is worth noting that this laptop's GTX 1060 comes with its own dedicated 3 GB DDR5 VRAM and can perform at the level of a desktop GPU. The combination of all these high-spec hardware will allow gamers to run any demanding and power-hungry modern AAA and VR games in ultra-settings at 60 FPS smoothly. As for the connectivity ports, the MSI GE62VR 7RF-298NL Apache Pro comes with one USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A ports, dual-band wifi and Bluetooth 4.2 combo, one SD card reader, one HDMI port, one mini DisplayPort, one mic-in, and one SPDIF headphone out jack. With MSI’s innovative Matrix Display and the HDMI and mini DisplayPort, users will be able to connect two monitors to the laptop simultaneously. Matrix Display also supports 4K output with resolutions up to 3,840 x 2,160.
