The MSI Stealth 14 Studio on sale aims to be a compact yet performant laptop with a 14-inch FHD+ display, Core i7-13620H CPU, an RTX 4060 laptop GPU, 16 GB of DDR5-5200 memory, and 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Per MSI, the 16:10 display covers 100% of the sRGB gamut and features a 165 Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the notebook packs a per-key RGB backlit keyboard, a 720p webcam with support for Windows Hello facial recognition, Wi-Fi 6, and a 72 Wh power pack.

When it comes to real-world usage, the MSI Stealth 14 Studio is a good notebook, as shown by our rating of 85% for a different configuration of the laptop. In reviewing the notebook, we complained that, for US$1,699.99 for our review model, the device offered very little, as it had a bunch of flaws in both construction and operation. For instance, one of our biggest complaints was that the laptop’s lid could be easily twisted.

However, as the MSI Stealth 14 Studio on sale not only packs a considerably more powerful GPU in the RTX 4060 but also costs US$300 less, the shortcomings present in our review model should be easier to stomach. For instance, the RTX 4060 is, on average, 23% faster than the RTX 4050 in the 3DMark TimeSpy Graphics benchmark per our testing.

Long story short, the MSI Stealth 14 Studio is a capable QHD/high refresh rate FHD gamer with a color-accurate display suitable for content creation workloads. At the current sales price, it definitely deserves your attention.
