Lenovo has released a new 14-inch ThinkPad internationally. Equipped with AMD Gorgon Point processors, the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 can also be configured with up to 96 GB RAM, a 75 Wh battery and even a 120 Hz VRR OLED display in a relatively lightweight body.

Lenovo has released multiple ThinkPads recently, many of which are now available globally. Now, the company has returned to the ThinkPad P14s, which it updated in March with AMD Gorgon Point and Intel Panther Lake processors.

At the time, Lenovo did not reveal when it would begin selling the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7, let alone for how much. While that remains true for North America, AMD versions have now gone on sale across Europe and Australia. Currently, Lenovo is selling Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440 and Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 470 variants to replace Gen 6 models (curr. $1,049 on Amazon).

Additionally, the new P14s can be configured with 60 Wh or 75 Wh batteries and an optional Snapdragon X61 5G sub-6 GHz modem, like many modern ThinkPads. However, Lenovo offers the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 in a relatively unusual amount of RAM configurations. At the time of writing, the laptop can be purchased with 16 GB, 24 GB, 32 GB, 40 GB, 48 GB, 56 GB, 64 GB, 80 GB and 96 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM split between 8 GB, 12 GB, 32 GB, and 48 GB modules.

Also, Lenovo sells PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 SSDs up to 2 TB capacities. Moreover, the new P14s comes with three 1200p and 60 Hz IPS display options. Alternatively, one 1800p (2.8K) OLED panel is available with 500 nits peak brightness, a 30-120 Hz VRR and an anti-glare finish. The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 starts at £1,990 in the UK with a Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440 processor and 16 GB of RAM. The same configuration sells for AUD 2,979 in Australia and between €2,069-€2,360 in the Eurozone. Pricing for other regions remains unconfirmed for now.
