Lenovo releases new 14-inch laptop with Core Ultra 7 266V and 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display

Lenovo has added a new processor option to its 14-inch Yoga laptop lineup in China. The new configuration comes with Intel's Core Ultra 7 266V and joins existing Yoga series configurations with the Core Ultra 7 355, released in January 2026, and Core Ultra 7 256V, released in May 2026.
The Core Ultra 7 266V is an 8-core, 8-thread Lunar Lake chip with a boost clock of up to 5.0 GHz and integrated Arc 140V graphics. It also supports up to 118 TOPS of AI performance. Lenovo pairs the laptop with 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory running at 8,533 MT/s, along with a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
In our comparison, the Core Ultra 7 266V is around 2% slower than the Core Ultra 7 256V in overall performance (Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition available on Amazon). The difference is minimal, with the 266V performing slightly better in some multi-core tests but falling behind in several single-core benchmarks.
The 14-inch OLED touchscreen has a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. HDR brightness reaches 1,100 nits, while the panel carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. Lenovo also claims 100% coverage of the sRGB, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color spaces, with a Delta E below 1.
The display also supports Dolby Vision and has TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low-blue-light and flicker-free certifications, along with Eyesafe 2.0 certification.
The laptop weighs about 1.2 kg, almost the same as the Yoga Slim 7 14 G9 that we previously reviewed. It measures 13.9 mm at its thinnest point and has a 70 Wh battery that can reach around 80% charge in one hour. Lenovo claims around 10.6 hours of simulated daily office use.
A 5 MP privacy camera and 3D microphone array are included for video calls, while the keyboard has 1.5 mm key travel and a 6.2-inch touchpad. Four speakers provide the audio, and connectivity includes three full-function USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth.
The new Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Aura configuration went on sale in China in August 2026 for CNY 9,999 (around $1,487). Lenovo has not yet announced whether this version will be available in other markets.
