Lenovo Vibe P2 images surface online
Lenovo isn't the kind of company to rely on a small portfolio of products. The Chinese manufacturer appears to have taken up the motto "the more the merrier" with its range of models available for customers. Its smartphone arm has expanded not just into the Moto family, but also the Vibe family as well.
New details have emerged on the unannounced Vibe P2 through both the Geekbench database and an early showcase in China last month with images in tow. Both sources have provided a good look at the design and specifications of the supposed Vibe P1 successor. Accordingly, the smartphone will include the following core features:
- 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED panel
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC
- 4 GB RAM
- 5000 mAh battery
Most notable from the above list is the rumored AMOLED panel as the existing Vibe P1 is equipped with a more traditional IPS panel instead. The high capacity 5000 mAh battery should be carrying over from the current model as well and there is speculation that the Vibe P2 will have an aluminum chassis with a combination fingerprint reader and physical home button.
Exactly when the Vibe P2 will be announced or made available remains unclear. The Vibe P1, for example, only launched earlier this year. Currently, the Moto series is available across most of Europe while there is a possibility that the lesser-known Vibe series would be renamed depending on the region of launch.
