The Lenovo ThinkCenter Neo Ultra is a new mini PC that stands as a competitor to the Apple Mac Studio. It is available with up to Intel Core i9 14900 and Nvidia RTX 4060. The base model, on the other hand, comes with Intel Core i5 14500, and the starting price is AUD 3,299 (about $2,211).

Lenovo has stepped up its mini PC game with the launch of ThinkCenter Neo Ultra. With an Apple Mac Studio-like design, the compact PC pairs Intel 14th gen processors with a Nvidia graphics card. More specifically, all the variants sport the RTX 4060.

As for the processors, the base model features Intel Core i5 14500, while the top-specced model has Intel Core i9 14900. There are four other variants in the middle, with two featuring Core i7 14700 and i7 14700T, one with i5 14500T, and the other with i9 14900T.

Lenovo hasn't provided the exact TDP for each of these variants, but the ThinkCentre Neo Ultra features a 350W power supply. The GPU of the mini PC, which is the RTX 4060, is said to operate between 35W and 115W TGP. As the compact PC has Gen 1 at the end of its name, we may see the company refreshing it in the future with better hardware inside.

One of the interesting aspects of the mini PC is its support for independent NPU cards. For example, you can attach a discreet Kinara Ara-2 to one of the M.2 slots inside the ThinkCentre Neo Ultra. But it's worth noting that the RTX 4060 itself can deliver over 200 TOPs of AI performance. So, in some cases, the additional NPU card might be unnecessary.

On the note of the slots, there are a total of four M.2 slots in the mini PC. Two are for SSDs (1 TB Samsung 990 EVO curr. $79 on Amazon), one for the AI card, and the other for WLAN. As for memory, the ThinkCenter Neo Ultra can hold up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM running in dual-channel. Cooling-wise, there are four fans that draw air from the top and exhaust it from the bottom back.

For connectivity, the Lenovo ThinkCenter Neo Ultra has four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one 20 Gbps USB-C, four DisplayPort 1.4a, two HDMI, and one Ethernet. The starting price of this mini PC is AUD 3,299 (around $2,211). Check out the complete spec sheet attached below to learn more.
