The Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 gaming laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, an RTX 5070 Ti GPU, and a 2.5K OLED display is now on sale for under $2,000. The discounted price is courtesy of massive savings afforded by stacking two coupon codes at checkout on Lenovo's official store.

We reported late last month that the performance Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 gaming laptop with an RTX 5070 GPU and a Core Ultra 7 CPU could be had for just over $1,400. The low price was the result of stacking coupon codes LENOVOLIVE10 and EXTRAFIVE at checkout.

Stacking the codes can also get you a pretty decent discount on a much more powerful configuration of the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 with a Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and an RTX 5070 Ti laptop GPU. This configuration, with 32 GB of memory and 1 TB of storage, normally retails for closer to $2,500. However, using the codes listed above, you can get the RTX 5070 Ti-powered Legion Pro 5i for just $1,710.

At a discount of 31% or $775, the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 is a substantially better value than at full retail, since the laptop has a lot going for it.

For starters, the Legion Pro 5i 16 features a durable plastic/metal chassis that doesn’t scream “gamer”. The laptop’s body incorporates a 16-inch OLED display around the front, a 24-zone RGB keyboard, and a good but not great port selection on the sides. Lenovo has completely abandoned an SD card slot on the laptop. This is a huge miss, since the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 is plenty powerful and has a color-accurate display, making the laptop perfectly suitable for content creation.

On the topic of the screen, the 16-inch 2.5K OLED panel with its 165 Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync, and more than 500 nits of average brightness is an excellent panel for gaming. Coupled with 100% DCI-P3 and factory calibration, the display is also ready for photo/video editing work.

Moving on to performance, our review of the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 with the same internals as the model on sale showed exceptional performance thanks to the RTX 5070 Ti and the Core Ultra 9 275HX. So, high-refresh QHD/FHD gaming is a real possibility with the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10.

While you should check out our written as well as the YouTube reviews of the Legion Pro 5i to know everything worth knowing about the notebook, the crux of the matter is that the Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 is a solid desktop replacement from almost every angle. Just make sure to invest in a Type-C dongle with an SD card reader if you are a creator.
