It forgoes flashy materials and premium frills to focus its budget on what matters most to its target audience: a big screen, a fantastic gamer-centric keyboard, and a powerful component package that delivers excellent and stable performance. It’s a machine built for the practical gamer who wants a robust desktop replacement experience without the “Pro” price tag. While it makes some clear and understandable compromises to hit its price point, the core experience it provides is so strong that it stands as a fantastic option in the entry-level to mid-range 17-inch gaming market.

The LOQ 17IRX10 definitely impresses with its wide range of features, including NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, G-SYNC, a color-accurate panel, and a capable RGB keyboard. It's a fairly future-proof machine thanks to the two SODIMMs and the pair of Gen 4 SSD slots. The LegionSpace app also allows you to play with the CPU and GPU power limits and thermal targets, which is a rare find in the budget segment.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.

In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.

In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.

These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop: Mobile mid-range graphics card from the Blackwell family based on the GB206 chip with 3328 shaders and 8 GB GDDR7 graphics memory (128 bit).

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop: Entry-level graphics card from the Blackwell family for Laptops with 2,560 unified shaders (CUDA cores) and a clock rate of 1500 - 2662 MHz depending on the TDP setting. According to Nvidia, the performance without DLSS and frame generation should be comparable to an RTX 4060.

Intel Raptor Lake-HX:

i7-14700HX: High-end mobile hybrid processor based on the Raptor Lake architecture with 20 cores (8 performance and 12 efficiency cores) and 28 threads.

i5-13450HX: Power-hungry mobile CPU of the Raptor Lake series that offers 10 cores (6 performance, 4 efficient cores) clocked at up to 4.6 GHz. A basic iGPU is present as well, but Thunderbolt (USB 4) is missing, and there is no proper NPU.
