The Lenovo Ideapad 110-15IBR-80T700JXSP features everything entry-level users need: reliable processing power, acceptable memory, plenty of storage space, and an attractive screen. It will be suitable for basic tasks, such as office work, browsing the internet or playing multimedia content. This model is an evolution of the old Ideapad 100-15IBD, which was based on Bay Trail architecture, now replaced by Braswell architecture in the present model. This laptop mounts the Intel Celeron N3160, a model that belongs to the low range of Intel processors and that has a maximum consumption of only 6 W. It consists of 4 cores, has 2 MB of cache memory and can work with a maximum frequency that goes from 1.6 GHz to 2.24 GHz. Lenovo uses the graphics integrated into the processor; in this case, it is the Intel HD Graphics 400, which will not be enough to perform advanced tasks such as photo retouching or video editing. The storage unit is a hard disk with 500 GB at 5400 RPM. It also comes with 4 GB of DDR3L RAM at 1600 MHz welded to the motherboard. The dimensions and weight of the Lenovo Ideapad 110-15IBR are around the average for 15.6" laptops of this entry-level range. Plastic is the material used for the construction of the entire housing. This model is black in color. While all exterior surfaces of this model are matte black, both the work area and the cover have a rough finish that imitates brushed aluminum. The keyboard featured on this Lenovo Ideapad 110-15IBR is not backlit, but offers a pleasant touch when writing.
The laptop’s screen is a 15.6" LCD panel with HD resolution (1366 x 768), LED backlighting and a bright finish. It offers a mediocre level of brightness, an adequate level of contrast, and limited but sufficient viewing angles. The main flaw of this model is the limited autonomy provided by its integrated 24Wh battery, which barely exceeds three and a half hours of light use (Wi-Fi navigation). Unlike its predecessor, which had a single mono speaker, it has two stereo speakers that offer adequate sound quality, although the volume level is not particularly high. Thanks to its passive cooling system (without fans), the Ideapad 110-15IBR operates almost completely silently at all times (one can only hear the hard disk) without negatively affecting the temperatures of the external surfaces of the notebook, which are kept within reasonable limits in any situation. Furthermore, the laptop has excellent networking capabilities, being compatible with Gigabit Ethernet, AC Wifi, and Bluetooth in its version 4.0. Other features include two USB Type-A ports (one of which is USB 3.0), an HDMI output, an SD/MMC-card reader, a numeric keypad, a multi-touch touchpad, and a webcam. It is delivered with Windows 10 Home (64 bits) installed.

15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
