With many budget tablets sporting dual-core processors with a cheaper price tag, we do feel that at Rs 14000, this tablet will have to face the storm out there. But if you are searching for a branded tablet with SIM-based 3G support, a good build quality and decent performance, this one stands out a bit different from the rest. Though the price tag is a bit too high for just a single core packed in, the gain is on the extra internal storage, higher RAM capacity and DUAL SIM 3G option. We could recommend this tablet if you are looking for a product that will last you a longer time, has a good after sales support and definitely the possibility of a Jelly Bean operating system update in the near future. However for the present price, we feel it is a bit too high.

We really want to like the IdeaTab: it's so cheap, and comes with a nice (if heavy) chassis and built-in 3G. But it's so slow, and the screen could be improved. Our advice is to stick with the Nexus 7, even if that means splashing out £239 for a 32GB version with 3G connectivity.

In short, while it is cheap, costing £20 less than its main rival the Nexus 7, we can't really recommend the IdeaTab A2107. Lenovo has cut too many corners in order to keep its cost down, meaning that the tablet is an underpowered, visually boring device only able to cope with basic tasks. This combined with its blurry screen mean that to all people interested in the 7in tablet space, we'd really recommend shelling out the extra £20 and getting a Nexus 7.

Entry-level revisited. Lenovo releases a budget-friendly 7-inch tablet with Android OS and low-power hardware. Can the bargain-basement offering from the well-know manufacturer hold its own or have the cost-saving measures been taken too far?

The only thing Lenovo's IdeaTab truly has going for it is its emphasis on audio quality, but when all is said and done, that's not enough for us to recommend it. The unforgivably shoddy display was far worse than we would have expected even at this price. Even if we were able to look beyond that obvious shortcoming, the tablet's poor performance would have been the final nail in its coffin.

At $129, the Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 is a capable Android tablet for everyday Web browsing, music listening and casual gaming. We also like that it gets more than 8 hours on a charge, but wish it offered just a little more performance.

If you just want a cheap Android tablet to have around, this one qualifies. But do yourself a favor and try to scrape up the extra Benjamin for a Nexus 7, which runs Android 4.3 (the A1000 runs 4.1) and sports a 1280-by-800-pixel IPS screen that’s a squillion times better, give or take a couple of zeroes. Right now, the Nexus 7 is the best 7-inch tablet you can get. The A1000 is just frustrating in comparison.

Dual SIM card tablet. The A3000 is another model in the IdeaTab series. Its distinguishing feature is the dual SIM card function -- a rare find in tablets. The device also has a quad-core SoC from Mediatek. Here’s to hoping that this chip is capable of more performance than the dual-core processor at work in the mediocre IdeaTab A1000.

If you are looking for a budget tablet with compact size, pleasant interface and smooth user experience, Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 is an adequate choice, and in addition, it has a great design with thin sides. Satisfying battery life and performance definitely contribute to the over-all equation. Last but not least is the cheap price. This may not be the tablet to flaunt in front of your friends, but it could certainly be the one you use for everyday tasks thanks to its compact size, which also makes it easier to carry around. Perhaps the only major gripe one could have is the camera with its inability to take good quality photos. However, most users, who decide to put the burden of that task on their phones, would hardly find this to be an issue.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L
The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is a powerful tablet with an affordable price tag. Design is kept simple. The rectangle profile has slightly curved edges and a matte textured back panel. There are two unique colors to choose from; pearl white and midnight blue. The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is a Wi-Fi + 4G/3G setup. While it is the more costly option, it adds connectivity capability. Display on the device is a spacious 10.1 inch IPS LCD panel with up to 10-point multi-touch. This display impresses in both clarity and saturation and makes the tablet a strong portable multimedia platform. Audio quality also supports this usage with audio by Dolby Atmos and the multi-speaker sound bar setup. The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L is equipped with a MT8165 QC quad-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2 GB of DDR3 1866 MHz RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Users can increase the storage using a microSD card up to 64 GB. The Android 4.4.4 device comes with an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front shooter. Other features found on the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L are Bluetooth 4.0, an FM radio module, dual-band Wi-Fi, and microUSB 2.0. Battery life is provided by a non-removable Lithium-Ion cell rated at 700 mAh.Specifications

The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 has a great screen for the price, along with long battery life and good camera quality. It's a solid choice for multimedia playback, but its performance is uninspiring. If you don't mind spending a bit more and dropping down to an 8-inch screen, the Asus Zen Pad S 8.0 offers a lot more power and an even higher screen resolution. Otherwise, the 9.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is your best—and priciest—Android option. If you're not commited to Android, the 9.7-inch Apple iPad Air 2 remains our Editors' Choice for large-screen tablets.

There are certainly better tablets on the market. But better for this price range? That’s a great question. We don’t think so, not yet. So if you’re in the market for a new 10-inch tablet (don’t forget this thing is a 10-inch tablet, not 7-inch) for less than $200, you should give this one a look. Overall, you’ll find that this is one of the best tablets for it’s price range, which says a lot about the tablet and about the price range.

With its amazing battery life and bright, colorful screen, Lenovo's Tab 2 A10 ($198) is the best 10-inch budget tablet yet. The similarly priced Asus ZenPad S 8.0 ($199) offers better performance and comes with 32GB of storage, but the Tab 2 A10 has a better display and lasts almost twice as long on a charge.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" from English legend, novo (Latin) for new) was founded in 1984 as a Chinese computer trading company. As of 2004, the company was the largest laptop manufacturer in China and, after acquiring IBM's PC division in 2005, the fourth largest in the world. In addition to desktops and notebooks, the company manufactures monitors, projectors, servers, etc, and specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing consumer electronics, personal computers, software, enterprise solutions and related services.
In 2016, the company ranked first in the world in computer sales. It still held it in 2023 with about 23% global market share. Important product lines are Thinkpad, Legion and Ideapad.
In 2011, it acquired a majority stake in Medion AG, a European computer hardware manufacturer. In 2014, Motorola Mobility was purchased, which gave Lenovo a boost in the smartphone market.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

67.88%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation.
