Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 320-10ICR Pro LTE
The Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 320-10ICR Pro LTE was presented at Mobile World Congress as a good device for people who do not spend a whole lot of time at a desk and do not need high-end components to get their work done, particularly if that work might mean being away from an outlet for a good part of the day or night. Devices such as 2-in-1 hybrids are here to eliminate the need for a choice between a laptop and a tablet, delivering the convenience of a tablet with the utility of a keyboard in one handy, transforming package. Pick up the Miix 320 and there is no missing that this is a budget machine. The shell is largely plastic and, pulling the screen from the keyboard base, there is a bit of flex in the whole unit that sets it below the metal-bodied convertibles of Dell and HP. Colour options are limited to silver and black only. As a combined device, the unit weighs 560g which, while lighter than a Dell XPS 13, is a bit heavier than a 9.7-inch iPad Pro (which weighs just 444g), despite the plastic build. Still, it is a relatively slim machine with a depth of 17.5mm. It feels as if it is built to travel. As for the display, it might lack finesse (the bezel around the screen is huge), but with a resolution of 1200 by 800 pixels, it is good enough for everyday use.
The Miix 320 runs on mid-spec hardware that will handle most everyday tasks. An Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor with a clock speed of 4 x 1.44GHz takes charge behind the scenes and, paired with 4GB DDR3L RAM, things run relatively speedily. With 64GB of eMMC storage, the 320 is unlikely to replace a laptop, but that is enough space for storing a host of documents. As for the OS, the Lenovo Miix 320 has Windows 10 as its standard. It is an operating system that works well on the 2-in-1, with the combination of keyboard controls and touchscreen input delivering a thoroughly usable interface for on-the-go computing. Things generally do not feel quite as fluid as with a more expensive machine. However, for everyday browsing and media handling, the Miix 320 will be more than capable. Regarding battery performance, users will get 10 hours of battery life out of a full charge. It also features a 2-megapixel front facing and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. One of Lenovo’s big sells for the Miix 320 is its ability to offer uninterrupted connectivity. The presence of both Wi-Fi and LTE (as an option) on the 320 should make it attractive to those who need to be online all the time, such as business people and Netflix addicts.

72.8%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
