Alongside the mountain of Yoga, IdeaPad, and Legion devices unveiled at CES 2025, Lenovo has unveiled what looks like a mid-range tablet, complete with near-top-spec hardware from MediaTek. The Idea Tab Pro targets the highly competitive sub-$500 tablet market and, all things considered, offers decent value for its asking price.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro comes with a large 12.7-inch (2,944 x 1,840 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio) IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 400 nits peak brightness. Like every modern-day tablet, it is designed to be used in landscape mode and has its 8 MP selfie camera aligned accordingly. A Matte display finish is available optionally.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro gets a last-gen MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC coupled with up to 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB UFS 4.0 storage. This is refreshing to see in a mid-range tablet, as OEMs often skimp on memory/storage to shave off costs.
Other Lenovo Idea Tab Pro specs include a 10,700 mAh battery that charges at 45 Watts, 4 speakers tuned by JBL, a 13 MP rear camera, and Wi-Fi 6E. You can buy the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro in April 2025 starting at $350.
