Leaks confirm the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G in at least two colours, including Mystic Bronze
The quasi-successor to the Galaxy Z Flip is almost here, with Samsung apparently set on announcing the device early next month at a Galaxy UNPACKED event. A mixture of "2018/19/20 parts" according to Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has been revealed in two colours.
Firstly, the TENAA has certified the device in black, as the montage below demonstrates. The device, codenamed SM-F7070, conforms to the design of the current Galaxy Z Flip. According to the TENAA, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G has the same 6.7-inch and 1.1-inch AMOLED panels, and retains the 167.3 x 73.6 x 7.2 mm dimensions of the existing model. As Digital Chat Station leaked last week, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G will have two batteries that have the capacities of 2,500 mAh and 704 mAh.
Additionally, Evan Blass has published a 360° GIF of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in "Mystic Bronze". This colour will also make its way to the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, on which we reported yesterday. This so-called Mystic Bronze may be the new brown hue that SamMobile wrote of last month.
Overall, it may be difficult to distinguish the Galaxy Z Flip 5G from the regular model unless you purchase the Mystic Gold version. Any differences between the two foldable smartphones will merely be internal.
