The alleged 3080 Ti ROG STRIX features a triple-fan cooler with aggressive silver accents that remind of the ROG MATRIX series, plus an RGB strip at the top, suggesting that the series could potentially go into premium-grade territory.

Previous leaks showed that Nvidia may consider introducing a new cooler design for the Founders’ Edition cards, yet reference cooling is largely disregarded by Nvidia’s AIB partners who are all about custom solutions with RGB lighting and crazy designs. Asus, for instance, is known for its extravagant yet efficient cooling solutions, and the latest leak coming from Videocardz is suggesting that the upcoming ROG STRIX RTX 3080 Ti cards are supposed to get a GPU cooler design overhaul.

The pictured card was allegedly presented during an internal Asus meeting. Triple-fan designs are nothing new for AIB partners, as the previous ROG STRIX RTX 2080 TI versions already come with three fans. However, this particular design differs quite a bit from the RTX 2080 Ti one, since it adds some aggressive silver accents that remind of the ROG MATRIX series. We can also spot the RTX and 3080 Ti branding in the lower left side, plus an RGB strip at the top that is usually included with more premium-grade cards. Asus might even throw in an OLED display on the upper edge.

Unfortunately, this leak does not include any hardware specs, but the inclusion of the 3080 Ti logo seems to be dismissing those rumors regarding a possible name scheme change that would replace 3080 Ti with 3090.
